Click the "Register" button in the top navigation, fill in your details with your institutional email address, and submit the form. You'll receive a confirmation and can start using the system immediately.

LDS searches multiple library systems including KOHA, DSpace, institutional repositories, and various academic databases. You can filter results by specific sources in the search interface.

You can bookmark any resource by clicking the bookmark icon on search results. Access your saved bookmarks anytime from the "Bookmarks" page in your account menu. Your search history is also automatically saved for future reference.

Yes, you can access LDS from anywhere with an internet connection. However, access to some external resources may require VPN or institutional authentication depending on your library's policies.

Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page, enter your email address, and follow the instructions sent to your email. You can also change your password anytime from your profile settings.

You can use quotes for exact phrases ("climate change"), AND/OR for combining terms, and minus sign to exclude words (programming -python). Wildcards (*) are also supported for partial matches.

Yes, we take security seriously. All data is encrypted, passwords are hashed, and we use secure connections. Read our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data protection.

User Guide

Searching for Resources

Enter your search terms in the main search bar. Use filters on the left sidebar to narrow results by source, date, format, or other criteria. Click on any result to view details and access the full resource.

Managing Bookmarks

Click the bookmark icon next to any resource to save it. Access all your bookmarks from the Bookmarks page. You can organize, remove, or export your bookmarks at any time.

Viewing Search History

Your search history is automatically saved. View past searches from the History page and quickly re-run previous queries. You can clear your history anytime from your profile settings.

Account Settings

Update your profile, change your password, and manage preferences from the Profile page. You can also export your data or delete your account if needed.
